i used to work for a man who had a fascination with insects and more specifically, beetles. within a short time he began collecting giant beetles, butterflies plus books and jewellery to inspire him. i must admit that during this time i learnt a lot about beetles and became intrigued myself.
i use beetles often in my artworks, their legs and shell patterns are so delicate and ornate. the lines of this artwork are fine ink pen. |
