my uncle, Ted Wearne, is an incredibly talented artist who i must thank for the countless times he’s provided advice to me. teaching me how to create artworks in pastel and charcoal, he has helped me develop my skills in portraiture which i’ve been able to carry over into other areas of my art.
happy was taken from a CD cover. this artwork is created entirely from soft pastel charcoal.
