everyone secretly loves Mariah Carey. there, i said it. i enjoy people giving Mariah carey a hard time for her consistently lovey-dovey songs and often exaggerated vocal range because at home, i know that person has at least one Mariah carey CD that they’ve bought for themselves, and possibly a christmas album that was given to them by a girlfriend one year. deep down, everyone craves a cheesy love-song every once in a while, and Mariah doesn’t fail to provide such cheese.
i began sketching this while working on the weekend, cutting patterns out of cardboard, and listening to Mariah Carey. the black lines in this drawing are ink pen, the colour and shading is marker. |
