>eyes 001 > brendon marczan, 2007 > original artwork > 200mm wide x 295mm high (plus white frame and 100mm wide white mount all around) (7.87" x 11.61") > ink + marker on paper a friend of mine has a female colleague who wears a ridiculous amount of eye-shadow, which just looks heinous. now i’m all for girls wearing great make-up, bright colours and trying new things, but with the shadow over this girl’s eye, you wanted to know which psychedelic peacock attacked her face that morning. and so this artwork for created to pay homage to all the girls out there who choose just one colour for their eyes lids. the black lines in this drawing are ink pen, the colour and shading is marker.
