>does that make me crazy > brendon marczan, 2007 > original artwork > 288mm wide x 420mm high (unframed) (11.34" x 16.54") > ink + marker on paper if you haven’t yet had the pleasure of experiencing the voice of Katie Noonan in person, then you have no idea what you’re missing. i have been a fan of Katie Noonan since her performing with the band George and was lucky enough to see her live and meet her at a product launch in sydney. her voice is unlike anything I’ve ever heard and can only be compared to angels. i sketched this artwork after seeing Noonan on an australian breakfast TV show, performing the Gnarles Barkley hit ‘Crazy’. jump onto youtube and search for this – it’s well worth a listen. the black lines in this drawing are ink pen, the colour is marker.
