designing and building my website has been a huge learning curve. it's not something i've ever studied before so learning how to create tables, link articles, etc. is still something i'm trying to fully grasp.

when i started designing my website, i tried to create a carbon copy of my artwork - detailed, colourful, complex. i spent a fair bit of the first half of 2008 sketching text headings, borders, buttons and other imagery for my wesbite. unfortunately, my drawings blended into the background and the website became confusing and cluttered.

this sketch is the heading for the 'about' section of my website. i've been able to use it for this current site. the black lines are created with ink pen, the colour is marker. this artwork is not framed.

> this artwork is created on acid-free paper but has not been UV treated. i recommend it be framed in UV coated glass and kept away from direct sunlight to avoid fading.

> this artwork is packaged inside a heavy card and plastic sleeve to protect it from light, bending and damage to the paper and materials used

> while the best care is taken to ensure colours shown on this website match those of the original artwork, colours may not be fully appreciate on some systems due to differences in monitors and/ or display cards
